Des bébés sont vraiment cute!! aww.. it was so nice yesturday. I volunteered to look after some babies and a 4 yr old child with the help of two other volunteers, while the baby puree was going on (where new mothers learn how to take care of their babies). My mom didnt have to work yesturday so she came along with me to help out. We came an hour early to get things set up, and to chat abit with others before the people arrived. I love volunteering, like I said. The first mom who came told me that her baby needed to be changed as he was last changed at 4 am.. ugh.. she didnt change him beofre he came. He was still in his pjs! she really needs to know how to take care of her baby. Later on her baby was crying..and she looked over at her baby.. and asked it "are you tired, or are you hungry?" and then looked confused and then realized that she should feed her baby..after a couple minutes of staring with confusion..then later on she said to one of the women..that she realized that when her baby cries she should feed her baby before it goes to bed..  anyways.. we weren't there to feed and change the diaper of the babies.. she thought we were..and she just asked who was gonna look after her baby. I said i would..and she told me a list of things to do with her baby. I looked at my mom. She had already seen this wonman beofer and gave her my name and phone number, cause she asked for it because she was looking for someone to look after her child and my mom told her that I was looking to babysit.   ANYWAYS... the mom was weird, but I liked the fact that I got a chance to take care of a baby. I never get that sort of chance, but I just hope that the woman doesnt call me..if she does I'll just say I dont have time. She lives so far away, and it'll be a hassle getting back and forth..   But besides that minute when she was telling me what to do, I had a really good time. The babies were cute (there were 4 in all and therewas also a 4 yr old boy too).  I sat on the matt..playing with the baies.. and then I took one for a walk when she was crying. I was palying peekaboo..and she started to grin.. it was so nice. I love making babies smile. I realized that looking after toddlers were much more fun, as they knew how to talk and walk. The 4 yr old boy fell head over heals for me it was funny. He held my hand..and stuck with me and wouldn't let me go when I had to go make the announcement on the radio (I volunteered to do the announcement for the christmas hamper). It was as if I were his girlfriend.I found it so adorable, and his mom looked over at him..and was shaking her head with a smile on her face. Yeah, so then later me and my mom went to the store..and bought 2 big bags of halloween candy. Altogether it was more than I got at halloween and the candies they were even better. The bigest bag of candy was a mixture (and cost only $2.50) and the other one was of little tootsie roll suckers ($1.50) . They are so addictive.. I ate so many. lol anyways, I saw two movies; "angel eyes"and "last man standing". They were both very good! I recommend you see them both. I loved the first one a bit more as it really had some meaning in it. Brian called me last night. I gave him my phone number two days ago. It was so nice to hear his voice. I havent talked to him on the phone..since..I dont know when. But the last time I saw him was 3 yrs ago. and before that..it was maybe when I was 11 yrs old. yup..and I dont remember ever talking to him on the phone except for last night. Maytbe I did. I dont know. Well...can't talk forver..see ya! bye xx becca

Well well well, it was very long since I wrote a post in tblog. I was really busy, and my mom ususally had the computer when I wasn't so I didn't get much time at all with the computer. The first thing that comes to mind was that I didn't already tell you guys how my first day as a student ambassador was. Last week-end I got my uniform(which is so nice) and I got to stand at the caferia door smiling at people as the came so I could stamp them. I stamped everybody, and by accident I stamped two people who didn't pay for the ticket(hey, that wasn't my job to make sure they paid. They only assigned me to stamp them, so I don't totally blame myself). Tomorrow is my second day, as it is parent teacher night. I won't have to worry about making mistakes there! hehe

On rememberance day, my mom went on the computer just to look up her someone in our family that was in WW2. She ended up finding a guy who was looking for our family members and and they were looking for my great aunt and my grandfather. They were looking for others whom I had never met. My mom emailed him saying that they could possibly be related, and gave information on our family and he gave information on the family too. Well, they realized that they are actually first cousins! They didn't think they had any cousins. I never knew any of my mom's cousins, but now we know that she has three as Rick(the cousin she found over the internet) has two other brothers). I am very happy for them. Now my mom has another aunt. She only ever had one. My mom's aunt is really her dad's sister, and they never talked to each other since 10 yrs, and before that they only saw each other when my uncle john was born and he is in his early 40's. To my mom and I, we find it a huge shock. We can't believe she found her own first cousin over the internet. My grandfather doesn't know about this, but my mom is gonna tell him someday soon. She just wants her sister to get ready to phone 911 when he finds out. This will probably make him have a heart attack as his heart isn't doing too well now. He had to get a new heart two years ago,but still he isn't doing too well. We are thinking of getting his sister to call him on his b-day which is December 1st. Thats why we need an ambulance nearby. After he finds out about his sister he will be so happy! My mom and I are thinking of going down to Winnipeg to visit them, but we don't know when. I have another great aunt, and three other second cousins (I have some on my dad's side).

This week-end I went out with my friends. On friday we went to go see the Grudge, and I thought it was really scary. I really liked the movie because I love having a scare sometimes. There was one part (I don't really remember which one) but it literally made me so scared that I had to actually concentrate on keeping my smarties as still as I could, because I literally jumped (not off my seat,but you know what I mean).

4. What are the names of your pets and where did they get their names?  (three cats -->  Maisy- she got her name from my mom. My mom called her Maisy as she watched the show "Wind at My Back" and the girl in that show was called Maisy. She just thought it was a pretty name.   Belle-- > she is a beautiful cat! With her colors and stripes, there are is no other name that suites her. "Belle" means "beautiful" in french.    Junior --> well we didn't actually know it was a girl, til a while. She was one of Maisy's kittens and she looked to us like it was a boy. I always loved the name Junior, and it was my cat so I named her that.)


5. Whats your favorite movie and why? (umm.. lets see.. it will have to be.."50 first dates". I love that movie. I find it so cute!")


6. What do you like the best about your best friend?    (We talk alot about everything and she listens to everything I say. She is really caring and sympathetic, and she doesn't ever seem to get on my nerves.) 


7. What is your dream car and why?  (my dream car is a Porche! It is soo beautiful and has so much style!)


8. How old were you when you had your first kiss and with who? (I was 5! does that count? ok.. lets see.. I had so many boyfriends when I was a kid.. and they were actually real ones if you dont believe me. OK.. well lets see... when I was a teen.. 13 yrs old. It was with my hot neighbor)

Was your first kiss with someone you even liked?   (I liked him alot, and we were just play fighting in his basement and I kiss him and we made out. He was a "bad boy", and I didn't know him too much. I just liked that he loved to sk8 and "bad boys" turned me on then. Now I look at it as if it meant nothing. He has so many girls now, you wouldn't believe it. He even has a girlfriend but he cheats on her. What an ass! anyways, afer that, I'm careful with who I coose to date. I had two really nice boyfriends after that.I'm glad I had decent guys in my life.


10. What is your favorite animal?   (my favorite animal is.. of course, a CAT!! They are soo cute and sweet. Especially mine. They are so loveable! aww)
