well for a while i've decidedthqat I was finally done writing in my blogs.. but now that i have internet back i will continue to write. I'm gonna start talking about some things that are new. lets see.. i havent went back to see what my last post talked about. Maybe ididnt write that i got fired from my old job at the restauant, so yes i did. Reason why is cause i was too slow, but i havent worked there for long. Now my new job is great! I love the customers and I work alone now, opening and closing by myself. I work at 6 different souvenir shops. I guess you could say they are the same, but not exactly. There are some things thatthey sell in each of the stores. The boss owns all of the stores. Well i also made 2 really nice pizzas and a beautiful fruit dish last week for my friends. I had three friends over. We ate, played some games, talked and watched a movie. It was very hot outside. The other day I met a guy on the bus whom i found out was born and halifax and lived in dartmouth just like me. I was al excited. I got his phone number. He knows i have a boyfriend which is good. Its gonna be cool hanging around with him. Went to Le Relais the other day. It was great! I was attached to a somewhat strap holding me around my waist and legs, which had two big metal clips that i had to attach to a wire. I really dont know how to explain it. Its a big course, and you're high up,in the woods. THere are cords that are attached to the trees and u walk on them. I'm not great at explaining things. Sorry! lol but i do know that at the end of the course, there was a zip-line that we were attached to and we went along the long zip-line practically high up and in the air. It was great.. We had a picnic after that with all the people from school. Yes it was a school trip. The last time i was able to spend altogether with the people from adult ed. there was a mini award ceremony right there for people who finished their collage prerequisites, high school, and for people who were really motivated, etc. I won an award, and it said something like congratulations Melanie (and my last name) for finishing your prerequisites. My name isnt MELANIE! Its melodie! lol i laughed. I didnt tell them. THey were nice enough just to give me one. I didnt really need a certificate for finishing my math 436 anyways. The other day after work I went out with some people from work. We wernt to get an ice cream, talked alot.. went to get a beer and a shooter.. we were 6 people in all. me, 4 people from work, and marks twin brother. Yes the twins are identicale. It was funny. Some people didnt even know mark had a twin brother so we got his brother to play a trick on them. He pretended he was his brother.. and when mark finally came people were like... wow!! well that was before we went out actually. We all had a good time. we went dancing after that. I wanted to salsa but didnt know how so we went upstairs to where they had norma bar music and me and the twins danced together. Marks brother Michael was really drinking alot... he had his hands on my hips when wewere dancing.. it was so funny because i never seen him dance with a girl before. He was a good dancer. Must have been the alchohol.. lol
okay yesturday was messed up! i was at work and my cash register wanted working correctly, and i had tons of customers it jsut made me so stressed. i started at 9 in the morning and was suppose to finish at 4:30 but finished at 7! There was something wrong. Everyone was trying to help me out.. and it just wasnt working. I hwas minus 430$ and didnt know what happened. Obliviously it was somewhere, but if i hadnt foudn the mistake i would have had to pay that 400$ from my own pocket. I was so tired!! finally someone saw a paper and asked me what it was. I told her what it was and she asked me.. where is the paper that ges with it. I was like.... OMG.. i forgot to take it out when i did a 'Z.' so it must have added onto the paper.. and i counted 430$ twice. there for that is why is wasnt balenced. I was happy but didnt really express it that much. I was just shocked that i had spent so many hours at work. I was going crazy. After I found outwhat was wrong, i stayed at the store for a half an hour more.. talking with the people i work with and when i went to put hte money in the deposit box i ended up explaining the situation to another employee so that took about 15 more mins of my time. I was questioning myslef why i was still there.. lol then i asked teh girl if i shouldgo home and go to bed or go to my bfs cause i told him i was going to go there. She told me to go see my bf so that i would get my mind off of what had happened. Then finnally i decided to go see my bf.. because we were going to go out for breakfast in the morning. GUESS WHAT DIDNT HAPPEN!!? l got to see him last night and we both went to bed around 11 or 12. WE didnt set out alarm clocks last night to wake up in the morning. I had to be at work at 9 and we were going to wake upo at 6 to go eat breakfast.. but I didnt know he didnt set his alarm. I was too tired to think of that last night. I woke up at 8:05. I panicked!! i was going to be late for work! i rushed!!! got my stuff and ran out the door. Ran all the way up the hill and the bus passed in my face. i walk to the bus stop out of breath. DIdnt have water on me and my mouth was dry. After a minute of standing there i realized my tickets were in my other pants pocket withwas at my bfs house. so i ran all the way down to hill toi get them. ran back up the hill. again, the bus passed in my face. i was pissed! my bf calls.. telling me his loves me, and i told him that i missed the bus again and told him how i wished there would be another 7 that would say vieux quebec on it..and right when i was telling him this a number 7 came and it said vieux quebec. it was now 8:30. i started work in a half an hour. the bus ride was thirty mins long and from my bus stop it took me 5 mins to get to work if i ran. i made it there at 9:05! i was so happy.. mad i was late.. but it wasnt that long. My hair was a mess though. i fixed it up, and went to count my cash register then opened up the store. The rest of my day was GREAT! didnt have much trouble with the cash and i didnt have any problems balencing. In fact i only had to count it once.. and it was 2 dollars more.. so it worked! yay. got to leave on time!! NOW i got my phone line back which means that my interent works.. yay. im a happy go lucky person today! love y'all.. and if u actually read this then thanks you must have nothing to do!! lol just joking..go out and have a good time!! xx Mel
